We, Carola and Torsten, founded the company SEG-CITY Dresden in 2013. With a lot of wit and charm as well as historical background knowledge, we inspire all who are traveling with us on a Segway tour.
Born and raised in Dresden, Carola studied tourism and has been showing the beautiful city of Dresden for over 15 years. On vacation, we both saw a Segway for the first time, had to try it out immediately, and were totally thrilled.
As if you had wheels under your feet, you experience a freedom like you’ve never experienced before. Standing in awe, exploring the city and thrilled by the baroque setting, the beautiful Elbe Valley, and the numerous museums, we decided to switch to the Segway so we could explore together with the guests the most charming corners of Dresden.
SEG-CITY Dresden presents itself as a cosmopolitan company that would like to show the city in an original way to tourists from all over the world. The discovery of Dresden is especially romantic on a Segway. In addition, SEG-CITY Dresden gives its guests many tips for culinary delights and suggestions for the evening.

Carola Klapper
Speaks German and EnglishCarola Klapper has been with Seg-City-Dresden since its founding. Born and raised in Dresden, she studied tourism and has been showing the beautiful Dresden for over 15 years. Delighted by the baroque scenery, the beautiful Elbe Valley and the numerous museums, she decided to switch to the Segway in order to explore the most charming corners of Dresden together with the guests. With a lot of wit and charm as well as historical background knowledge, she thrills all who are traveling with her on the Segway.
Her tip: The baroque buildings of this romantic Elbe-City in the glow of the nocturnal lights.
Torsten Klapper
Speaks GermanTorsten Klapper has been with Seg-City-Dresden since its founding. Born in Dresden, he knows every corner of his city and makes every Segway Tour a special experience. He has the correct answer for every question, the ex-cyclist now drives the Segway. Thrilled by this special, computer-controlled scooter, Torsten shows his tour participants the most beautiful parts of the city, including the ones you would never reach on foot. If Torsten is not on the road with the Segway, his second passion is sailing.
His tip: End the evening with Dresdner beer and good food in the brewery Watzke.
